On Days of our Lives, Nicole’s new husband has been gone for weeks now. Sure, she’s kept busy urging Allie (Lindsay Arnold) to file rape charges from a night she can’t remember in a place where the Salem PD has no jurisdiction and taking care of Baby Henry and, presumably, Invisible Holly.
But we all know Nicole (Ariane Zucker); she gets bored easily. Is it time for her to get a new love interest? What almost 3,000 viewers would like to see happen:
Oh, come on, 84% of the audience groans, it’s only been a few weeks since Eric (Greg Vaughan) took off for Africa, she shouldn’t exactly be writing her marriage off yet. Remember everything that Nicole and Eric went through to be together? She was presumed dead for months and Eric still carried a torch for her, the least she can do is hold on until he comes back.
Now, on the other hand, if Eric were to be presumed dead, well, then… oh, come on, how many times have both of Eric’s parents been buried and resurrected? Even if Eric is presumed dead and Nicole sees his body and a DNA test confirms and his ghost comes to tell Nicole to move on, she shouldn’t. Just in case. In Salem, it’s not even death doth us part.
Only 16% think Eric gave up his chance for fidelity when he decided to take off for another continent. Nicole is a free woman, and she should act like one. Hey, how about Brady (Eric Martsolf)? He’s currently involved with a complete lunatic who belongs in jail.
Should it be bye-bye, Kristen (Stacy Haiduk), hello, Brady? They’ve got unfinished business, and it would be poetic justice if Eric were to return to find his brother with his wife. Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
