For the first time in literally years on The Young and the Restless, Chelsea remembered that Johnny was her biological child. Sure, she drugged and raped Billy so she could conceive an Abbott heir as part of a long con she and her mother, Anita, were running.

And, sure, she signed the baby over to Victoria and Billy before his umbilical cord stump fell off. When Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) returned to town, she reunited with Nick (Joshua Morrow) and asked about how Christian – the little boy she’d considered running off with prior to changing her mind – before she asked Billy (Jason Thompson) about Johnny – the child she’d actually given birth to.

The Young and the Restless Polling

For more than a year, Chelsea has been obsessing over Adam (Mark Grossman) and Connor (Judah Mackey) – Johnny who? But now Adam is angry with her, and Connor is out of town, and Chelsea held Chloe’s (Elizabeth Hendrickson) baby boy and, what do you know – she wants to spend time with Johnny! Should she sue for custody? What over 4,000 voters told us:

Give It Up

Oh, please, 82% of the audience snorted, the woman doesn’t have a legal leg to stand on. She gave Johnny up for adoption and never looked back. Victoria (Amelia Heinle) is the only mother Johnny knows and loves, and Chelsea is a total stranger to him.

Besides, she doesn’t even want him. She wants Connor, who loves, worships, and needs her to a disturbing extent. She’s trying to use Johnny to replace the son who’s currently away – without caring what effect that might have on Johnny.

Go For It!

Billy is a smug bastard, 18% of you remind, and Victoria has been a brat lately. They both deserve to lose something they love, and Johnny fits the bill. Chelsea is his mother, and Johnny has the right to know that. The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
