It looks like things on Days of our Lives are about to get a lot more fun now that Salem’s bad girl turned executive assistant extraordinaire is heading back to town. Tionne ‘T-Boz’ Watkins is reportedly bringing Sheila Watkins.
According to Soaps.com, Watkins, whose character left Salem last May, will be back reprising her role, probably around March — though with the rumored time jump that we’ll be seeing start this coming Friday, it’s even harder to pinpoint casting changes.
Lots of viewers were upset when Sheila left just as she was just hitting her stride as then-Mayor Abe Carver’s executive assistant, helping to loosen up his stuffy exterior and bring fun back into his orbit.
Dumped At the Altar
Not only that, she grew up with Eli (Lamon Archey) and considering all that he’s going through right now after Lani (Sal Stowers) dumped him at the altar, he could certainly use his old friend by his side, helping him pick up the pieces of his life.
Of course, she’s not going to be in Salem for a while, it seems, and who knows where the people she knows will be physically and emotionally when she returns. Then again, those mentioned above aren’t Sheila’s only connection in town.
When we first met Sheila, she was revealed to have had a dangerous past with Adrienne-lookalike Bonnie Lockhart (both roles played by Judi Evans). Of course, the two managed to put any animosity aside as they worked together to con the Kiriakis household. But Bonnie wasn’t her only jailhouse connection. Sheila also tangled with Hope (Kristian Alfonso) inside the slammer.
Could Sheila run into Princess Gina, who would have no idea who she is? Surely that particular secret will be out by then. Right?! Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
