Hope has confessed to killing Stefano, which means she’s headed to the slammer and probably destined to serve major time.
Heroine-turned-vigilante Hope (Kristian Alfonso) shot three bullets into Stefano, wrongly believing he was the one who orchestrated her late husband Bo’s kidnapping.
After spending a year covering up the crime, she’s been found out and ‘fessed up to the murder. As Hope awaits sentencing, the character faces an uncertain future in Salem. Soap Hub asked fans what you think Hope’s prison sentence will mean to Days of Our Lives.
Days Behind Bars
All’s well on the Hope front, according to 41% of fans, who doubt actress Kristian Alfonso will miss much screen time. You’re expecting the soap to segue into some sort of prison plotline that will follow Hope’s trials and tribulations behind bars. And you’re actually looking forward to it.

Meanwhile, 30% of you aren’t sure what the future holds for Hope or how it will affect the soap. Obviously, her romance with Rafe (Galen Gering) will be put on hold, as well as her day-to-day interactions with her family and friends.

A Lot Less Hope
The remaining 29% of you assume you’ll be seeing a lot less of Hope in the months ahead. Aside from an occasional visit by Rafe, Ciara, or Doug and Julie, you’re not expecting much more.
You’ve resigned yourself to the fact that Hope won’t involved in a front burner storyline for a while and are trying to come to terms with it.
