The Days of Our Lives recap for Friday, August 28, 2019, features Susan proving her worth. She may be crazy and kooky but she definitely earned her place in the family. Kristen’s secret was out, the DiMera loon went off the rails, and Susan saved the day!
A Terrifying Twist
Kristen (Stacy Haiduk) was unmasked and exposed and knew she had to act fast. She tried to explain away her actions but it did not good. Nothing could explain what she did.
She paraded around town as Nicole (Arianne Zucker), put them through hell with Holly’s death, married her own brother, and seduced Brady. Oh, not to mention kidnapping and possible murder!
Kristen was not going down without a fight, though. She knew it was only a matter of time before she was in cuffs so she pulled out a gun in a last-ditch effort to save herself. She grabbed Marlena, put the gun to her head, and threatened to shoot if the crowd did not let her go.
Susan For the Win!
She did not get far, though. She thought she took down Susan, but the bizarre woman got out of her ties and was out for revenge. She attacked Kristne from behind and knocked her to the ground. Talk about bravery!
A Small Sliver of Truth
Once at the station, Kristen clammed up and demanded a lawyer. Eli (Lamon Archey) and Brady accused her of murder but she was adamant she didn’t kill anyone. Oh yes, she committed a lot of crimes but murder was not one of them.
It’s Really Over
Back at the party, Kate (Lauren Koslow) was reeling. She was relieved to have Kristen behind bars and told everyone her tale of woe. She knew Kristen was alive but feared for her children’s lives.
Tony (Thaao Penghlis) had a lot of explaining to do with Anna (Leann Hunley). It was bad enough thinking he married Nicole but to wed his own sister? Yuck! Anna demanded answers and this time, Tony gave them. (Well, some of them).
The Hardest Part
Eric (Greg Vaughan) took the reveal hard. He was heartbroken Nicole was alive and didn’t want him but this is much worse. This means Nicole didn’t survive at all. He lost her, he lost Holly, and he’ll never be the same. Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
