On Days of our Lives, Nicole Walker Brady waited months and months for her new husband to return from Africa. At one point, she got tired of waiting…and slept with Xander Cook. Then Eric Brady came back to Salem! And the truth came out! And Eric left again.
But Salem is Eric’s (Greg Vaughan) home, and he’s bound to return sooner or later, even if it’s just to visit his Devil-possessed mama, Marlena Evans Black (Deidre Hall) – an ex-priest son could come in awfully handy! So what should Nicole (Arianne Zucker) do if and when he does return?
Eric, who? 49% of you shrug. You’ve forgotten him already, and Nicole should too. If she wants to fight for anybody, she should be fighting to get Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) away from Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun). Nicole may have a bad-girl streak – but Ava is bad to the bone!
No way, 34% of the audience counters. Let Rafe be, he’s a big boy and he’s made his choice. Eric, on the other hand, reacted emotionally. He and Nicole still have unfinished business. They’ve broken up and gotten back together before. You’re sure she can win his love again.
Nicole can do what she likes, 10% dismiss, but Eric is done with her, and nothing she does will change that. She can knock herself out, but whatever feelings he once had for her are gone. Her efforts aren’t relevant here. Only his disinterest.
Who needs either of those losers when EJ DiMera is ready, willing, and able to sweep Nicole off her feet and finally finish the love story that got derailed when Nicole engaged in a little baby-napping. Eh, Sydney is fine now, and Sami Brady DiMera (Alison Sweeney) ended up cheating on EJ anyway, so who was right back then, 7% ask.
