Stephen Nichols and Mary Beth Evans: Life Back On The Days of Our Lives Set

It has been an incredibly long drought for Stayla fans, but take heart — Stephen Nichols is back on the Days of Our Lives set and has reunited with his longtime co-star, Mary Beth Evans — and there’s video proof!

Even if you won’t get to see these two fan favorites together again onscreen for about six months, due to the show’s current taping schedule,  you can take heart with a recent video that Nichols posted to Instagram.

In it, the actor surprises Evans, who wasn’t sure if they were doing a picture or video, and it’s clear to see these two professionals haven’t missed a beat with their onscreen chemistry. The banter, just in this short video clip, will certainly whet the appetite of Steve and Kayla fans who have missed seeing their two faves together.

In the story, Steve has been searching for the person who hacked into his bionic eye to see state secrets that got him arrested for treason for a short time.

Ever since he has been trying to track the person (or maybe more than one). While we don’t know if his return means he’s found the culprit, we do know it’s long-awaited.

After all, Steve needs to be reunited with his baby brother, Jack, who returned to Salem (from the dead) around New Year’s Eve.

Jack’s been a pain in the butt ever since — perhaps he needs his big brother to knock some sense into him if Jennifer isn’t able to fix things before he arrives. It’s certainly a reunion we’re excited to see!
