Lexie’s Return and Reunion Stirs up DiMera Drama
There’s no way EJ (Dan Feuerriegel) expected Lexie’s (Nikki Crawford) resurrection to take a turn like this. When she crashes the end of Stefano’s will reading, the family is stunned, even the ones who knew she was well on her way back to the land of the living.
Abe (James Reynolds) will be particularly blindsided. He had no idea this was coming. EJ and Theo (Tyler Joseph Andrews) kept it a secret from him. And Marlena (Deidre Hall), who knows, couldn’t say anything because she’s bound by confidentiality since Theo is her client.
Lexie’s presence will instantly cause chaos in the lives of those she loves. Oh, and wait until Abe finds out that Paulina (Jackée Harry) has been in on this secret as well. That’s not going to go over well.
Tony Makes a Surprising Move Involving Gabi
Monday also features Tony (Thaao Penghlis) making Gabi (Cherie Jimenez) an unexpected offer after he learns she is likely inheriting everything left to Stefan in the will. She learned that she is Stefan’s rightful widow after Philip (John-Paul Lavoisier) flew to Alamainia and discovered that Vivian (Louise Sorel) had forged Stefan and Gabi’s divorce papers.
There will undoubtedly be some lingering tension between Tony and Gabi. He did backstab her after she made it possible for Tony to get his family’s company back from the Kiriakises. He promised her the CEO position at DiMera. Instead, he let her walk away with full ownership of Gabi Chic. Of course, Philip has no idea how Gabi betrayed him and his family. We’ll see how much longer that will last.
Kristen Sees Sophia?
The weekly teasers reveal that Kristen (Stacy Haiduk) sees Sophia (Rachel Boyd). There are multiple ways this could go. First, this could be another dream Kristen is having. Second, Kristen can unexpectedly feel an immense amount of guilt. And hallucinating Sophia could be a way that it manifests.
And third, it’s really Sophia. A body hasn’t been found, and she could be back, ready to exact revenge on the woman who tried to kill her. What is about to happen?
Leo and Cat Face the Music
Finally, EJ questions Cat (AnnaLynne McCord), while Chad (Conner Floyd, who discussed his character’s motivations) defends Leo (Greg Rikaart). Leo pretended to be on the DiMera property, claiming he was birdwatching. And then he and Cat both ended up sneaking around the family’s mysterious tunnels, where he guessed Cat was ISA.
But now that Lexie has worked her way out of the tunnels, Cat and Leo will need to come up with answers for why they were nosying around in a place where they shouldn’t have been.
