On the Friday, February 9 episode of Days of our Lives, spoilers focus on roommates and co-parents Xander and Sarah. Specifically, their sexual tension, which continues to rise.
At this point in Xander (Paul Telfer) and Sarah’s (Linsey Godfrey) topsy-turvy relationship, the on-again and off-again couple is feeling a certain vibe. Usually, one or the other musters up an excuse for why they can’t take their co-parenting/roomie situation-ship to the next level.
Despite all of that, teasers suggest that the tension between the two continues to heat up. Will Xarah find a way to resist temptation like so many times before? Or will they give in and reconnect like they both — obviously — want to happen?
Wendy (Victoria Grace) and Ava’s recent one-on-one conversation didn’t go well. In fact, it went horribly. Ava (Tamara Braun) gave Wendy her version of a shovel-talk. And in turn, Wendy called Ava out on her budding relationship with Harris (Steve Burton). Needless to say, Tripp (Lucas Adams) can’t let this cold war between his mom and girlfriend exist. So he and Wendy attempt to clear the air with Ava.
When Alex (Robert Scott Wilson) and Theresa (Emily O’Brien) decide to stay in for the evening, their conversation veers into the serious. They end up chatting about addiction, which is an opportunity for Alex to understand more about what Theresa’s going through. Another topic they may or may not want to talk about? The plan Alex recently cooked up with Kristen (Stacy Haiduk) to ensure Theresa and Brady (Eric Martsolf) never end up together. Just saying.
The first storyteller comes in the form of Julie Horton (Susan Seaforth Hayes). She’s currently helping Chad (Billy Flynn) care for his children. While he’s working hard on exposing the dangerous drug crisis plaguing Salem, it’s up to Julie to entertain the kids. So she ends up telling Thomas (Cary Christopher, who’s appearing in a Super Bowl 2024 ad) and Charlotte (Autumn Gendron) a story.
The second storyteller is another Horton, Lucas (Bryan Dattilo), to be specific. When Kate (Lauren Koslow) catches her son out of hiding, he better have a credible story to tell his mama. Because ever since Harris plucked him out of Statesville and planted him in his room above The Pub, he’s been antsy. He already opened up to Chad and Everett (Blake Berris) for an impending article. What’s he planning to do now?
