Couples deal with betrayal, accusations, and lies that test the strength of their relationships, according to the Days of our Lives spoilers preview. Love or Heartbreak
It’s the first of many romantic evenings for Javi (Al Calderon) and Leo (Greg Rikaart) now that Leo has moved into the Hernandez house. Leo lights a pair of candles on a dinner table set for two as Javi looks up at him, smiling.
“I have finally found true love,” Javi announces to Gabi (Cherie Jimenez). But can Javi really trust Leo? “I just hope that he doesn’t break your heart,” retorts Gabi, who remains wary of her cousin’s beau. “With Leo Stark, there’s always a stupid scheme that he’s right in the middle of. “

Breaking A Confidence
That scheme, of course, involves Alice’s missing diamond necklace and Doug’s part in it. Tate (Leo Howard) decides to break Holly’s (Ashley Puzemis) confidence and deliver that bombshell information to Julie (Susan Seaforth Hayes). “I know who stole your necklace,” reveals Tate. “It was Doug Williams (Peyton Meyer). Julie can’t believe her ears or that she’s been played by her beloved Doug’s grandson.
And let’s just say Holly is furious at Tate. “My selfish boyfriend ratted you out,” she tells Doug. That is after Julie confronts Doug about his duplicity.

Secret Affair?
The secret Xander (Paul Telfer) overheard Stephanie (Abigail Klein) and Philip (John-Paul Lavoisier) talking about and completely misconstrued totally blows up. When Xander, Philip, and Alex gather at the Kiriakis mansion for a business discussion, Xander apparently drops the news of “Stephanie and Philip’s affair” to Alex.
“Yes, it’s true,” admits Xander. Alex explodes and grabs Philip by the collar. “You son of a bitch,” he blasts him.
Later, Alex decides to confront Stephanie about the tryst, desperate to believe it isn’t true. “Are you sleeping with Philip?” he asks her. Of course, Stephanie, who’s not, is stunned by the accusation. Now she just has to finagle her way out of the whole mess.

A Lie of Omission
As Paul (Christopher Sean) spends some time reminiscing with Marlena (Deidre Hall) about his missing father, John (the late Drake Hogestyn), Andrew (Colton Little) opens up to Steve (Stephen Nichols) about a secret he’s been keeping.
“I’ve been lying to Paul,” admits Andrew. “I know more about John’s (Drake Hogestyn) mission than I’ve let on.”
Later, Andrew levels with Marlena, sort of… “Time’s running out,” he tells her, referencing John’s precarious situation. “What does that mean?” asks a puzzled Marlena.
