A New Triangle
Alex and Joy’s rebound tryst has turned into something more. “I do really like spending time with you,” reveals Alex (Robert Scott Wilson) to Joy (AlexAnne Hopkins). Joy seems to be on board for the new relationship, too. “I’m seeing Alex now,” she tells someone.
But where does this leave Stephanie (Abigail Klein), who’s come to the realization that she has genuine feelings for Alex? Seeing him share a warm embrace with Joy at the hospital finally gets her to open up to him. “I wasn’t really ready to end things between us,” Stephanie declares. Then she ups the ante, admitting, “I miss you.” The revelation leaves Alex in a quandary.

Missing Child
The DiMera and Black families are beside themselves with worry since Rachel (Finley Rose Slater) ran away. “My granddaughter is missing,” Marlena (Deidre Hall) confides to Steve (Stephen Nichols).
The little stunt has landed Rachel’s parents, Brady (Eric Martsolf) and Kristen (Stacy Haiduk), back in each other’s arms just like she hoped it would. The pair share a hug as Brady tries to reassure Kristen when she bemoans, “Where is she?”
While Rachel appears to have found a comfortable place to hide out, the Salem PD receives some distressing news. “A little girl was hit by a car,” Shawn (Brandon Beamer) tells Belle (Martha Madison). “The description matches Rachel.”
And Kristen continues to freak out. “I’m never going to see my daughter again,” she cries out to Brady.

Accident or Attempted Murder?
Bonnie (Judi Evans) is totally distracted with her cell phone as she enters an elevator at Salem University Hospital. Alex tries to stop her, but it’s too late.
“Bonnie, Bonnie1! No, no!” he yells out. Unfortunately, Bonnie screams and takes a horrendous fall.
Justin (Wally Kurth) quickly arrives on the scene and investigates. When he runs into Jada (Elia Cantu), he tells her, “I’m not so sure that my wife’s fall was an accident.”
It appears that he’s right because a person wearing black gloves holds a headshot of Bonnie in his hands and strikes a big red X through it. The question is: Who would want to hurt poor Bonnie?
