DAYS Weekly Video Preview: I Do’s, Steamy Sex and Tragic Fire

Romance is at an all-time high on Days of our Lives as key couples celebrate Valentine’s Day. There’s a romantic wedding, steamy shower sex, and more. But according to DAYS spoilers, there’s also plenty of drama too, including a hero getting shot and a beloved family home going up in flames. Here’s your video preview for the week of February 12 – 16, 2024.

Wedding Surprise

Valentine’s Day 2024 is chock full of love, romance, and steamy sex in Salem. It all begins with the long-awaited re-wedding of a popular pair. “Johnny [Carson Boatman] and I are getting married today,” announces an eager Chanel (Raven Bowens). And, by the looks of the happy photos, it actually goes off without a hitch.

Be My Valentine

There are also plenty of other romantic moments for some of the soap’s other top couples. John (Drake Hogestyn) surprises Marlena (Deidre Hall) with a picnic in the park.

At the Salem PD, Rafe (Galen Gering) delivers a special gift to Jada (Elia Cantu) – a heart-shaped box of chocolates. Meanwhile, Tripp (Lucas Adams) and Wendy (Victoria Grace) share a kiss in the square.

Steve (Stephen Nichols) and Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) have two reasons to celebrate. He hands Kayla her favorite flower as she awakens in their bed – a yellow rose. “Happy anniversary, Sweetness,” he whispers. (See a tribute to Steve and Kayla’s love here.)

Home at Last

At the DiMera mansion, the comatose Holly (Ashley Puzemis) appears to have made some significant progress. After a trip to Italy for special medical treatment, she’s back in Salem. “Holly’s home now,” says a grateful and happy Nicole (Arianne Zucker) as she sits by her bedside.

Later, alone with EJ (Dan Feuerriegel), Nicole thanks the man responsible for her daughter’s progress. “My valentine made it all happen,” she says. Then, the couple shares a passionate kiss.

A Proposal?

Alex (Robert Scott Wilson) and Theresa (Emily O’Brien) are out having a romantic dinner for two. As the pair look lovingly into each other’s eyes, Theresa blurts out, “My answer is yes. Yes.” But did Alex actually propose or has she jumped the gun?

Shower Time Passion

After months of denying their intense feelings for one another, Xander (Paul Telfer) and Sarah (Linsey Godfrey) finally give in to passion…in the shower. It looks like Sarah joins Xander under the cascading water, and he doesn’t turn her away. And let’s just say things get pretty steamy pretty fast.

Bang, Bang

After receiving a message to meet someone on the docks, gunfire rings out, and Harris (Steve Burton) ends up taking a bullet. Ava (Tamara Braun) finds him and immediately calls for help. “Harris has been shot,” she cries out. Tripp races to the scene, and he and the paramedics try to save him.

Back at the Brady Pub, where Lucas (Bryan Dattilo) is hiding out in Harris’ room, a masked man races off. Kate (Lauren Kosow) hears the commotion and runs to her son’s rescue with a gun in hand. “Lucas, are you alright?” she asks.

Burning Down the House

The drama really intensifies at the Horton house, when the whole place is suddenly on fire. Chad (Billy Flynn) and Julie (Susan Seaforth Hayes) come racing down the stairs and see flames everywhere. “Oh my God,” says Chad. All Julie can do is gasp at the horrific sight.

Fortunately, Julie and Doug (Bill Hayes) make it out unharmed. The pair sit on a bench watching their beloved home burn. “I’m watching half my life go up in flames,” bemoans Julie as she nestles with her husband.
