A woman scorned explodes, a sexy teen moves in on her prey, and the Salem PD closes in on a crime, according to the Days of our Lives spoilers preview. Meanwhile, a duped Leo and Brady are desperate to figure out what’s happening. Here’s your DAYS video preview for the week of August 19 – 23, 2024.
Body & Soul
The reboot of Body & Soul is capturing everyone’s attention around Salem. “I’ve never been much of a soap guy, but I guess I better start tuning in,” admits Roman (Josh Taylor). Stephanie (Abigail Klein) encourages him to watch. “You’re going to get addicted like that,” she responds, snapping her fingers.
Betrayed Wife
Gabi (Cherie Jimenez) erupts when she confronts Stefan (Brandon Barash) and Ava (Tamara Braun) about their night of passion while she was in the slammer. She spats a Spanish expletive at her husband and tosses a drink in his face. “You two were doing the dirty while I was locked up,” she says.
All Stefan can do is plead with his wife and profess his earnest feelings for her. “I love you,” he insists. But Gabi isn’t receptive to his declaration and pushes him away.
Later, Gabi and Stefan take their “discussion” back to the DiMera mansion, where EJ (Dan Feuerriegel) interrupts the feuding duo. “Trouble in paradise?” he asks snidely.
Totally Confused
Leo (Greg Rikaart) can’t take another moment with the suddenly wild and sassy Marlena, unaware that it’s actually her lookalike, Hattie (Deidre Hall). “Dr. Evans, are you in there?” he asks, taking her by the shoulders and shaking her. Will Hattie finally tell him exactly who he’s been hanging out with?
Making Moves
Sofia (Madelyn Kientz) shows up at the Horton cabin with a plan. She finds Tate (Leo Howard) alone and decides to make the most of the situation by attempting to seduce him. “What do you feel like doing?” she coos. She’s in a flimsy little robe, and he’s shirtless.
Crime and Punishment
Brady (Eric Martsolf) tries to figure out what happened during the missing hours he can’t account for – the hours when a hit-and-run driver struck poor Sarah (Linsey Godfrey). Fiona (Serena Scott Thomas), who knows exactly what transpired and that she was the one behind the wheel of the car, keeps mum.
Jada (Elia Cantu) and Paulina (Jackée Harry) review footage and information regarding the night in question. Apparently, Paulina spots something. “That’s a great call, alright,” announces Jada. “I think we just blew this case right open.”
Meanwhile, Brady suddenly comes to the revelation that he might have been the driver who hit Sarah and is beside himself. “Oh God, no,” he moans.
Surprise Turns
Around town, the drama and surprises continue. “Everything is going according to plan,” Abigail reports to someone on the phone. It makes you wonder if she’s really Abigail or a manipulative imposter.
And Connie (Julie Dove), who was last seen trying to get rid of Melinda (Tina Huang), closes the front door of her apartment and sighs. Then she looks at someone inside and blurts out, “Holy moley.” Is she sharing her frustrations with a real live person or her life-size cardboard cutout of Li Shin?
