Key witnesses take the stand in the case against Johnny, causing major turmoil in the courtroom and an impromptu decision by the man on trial, according to the Days of our Lives spoilers. Plus, one couple looks dead and buried, while another happily moves forward, and an ex-lover moves in on the suddenly free man who got away. Taking the Stand
Another witness takes the stand in the case against Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman). This time it’s his cousin, Rachel (Alice Halsey).
Belle (Martha Madison) questions the girl about what she saw the night someone tried to kill EJ (Dan Feuerriegel). “What happened next, Rachel?” she asks.
Later, a distraught Rachel agonizes over her experience in court. “What if Johnny goes to prison because of me?” wails Rachel, who’s at the pub with her mother, Kristen (Stacy Haiduk).

Breaking Up
Later, Belle shows up at the DiMera mansion, much to EJ’s surprise, considering the way they left things after they were reprimanded by Judge Dabne (Karole Foreman). “In the courtroom, you said I was dead to you,” recounts EJ.
“Believe me, you are,” confirms Belle. “I never want to see you again.”
After Belle leaves, a frustrated EJ pounds his fist on the bar.

Moving On
Sophia (Rachel Boyd) laments the state of her life, now that she’s had her baby and given him up. “Nothing is turning out the way that I thought it would,” she admits to someone. Meanwhile, Tate (Leo Howard), who’s happily moved on, shares a kiss with Holly (Ashley Puzemis).
Across town, Sarah (Linsey Godfrey) comes face to face with Gwen (Emily O’Brien), who’s eager to share some news with her. “Xander (Paul Telfer) is moving on,” Gwen announces to Sarah. “With me.”

Coming to a Head
Back in court, Kristen takes the stand as EJ prepares to question her. Later, Johnny has it out with his father about representing him at his trial, and he doesn’t mince his words.
“I’ve got two words for you,” says Johnny. EJ looks at his son, not sure what to expect. Then Johnny delivers the big blow: “You’re fired.”
