Philip (John-Paul Lavoisier) and Xander (Paul Telfer) learned that Gabi’s (Cherie Jimenez) money for Titan came through. Sarah (Linsey Godfrey) discovered the good news. Philip locked Xander and Sarah in the wine cellar as they looked for a special Greek champagne to celebrate. The exes grew closer as they bonded over recent events. Sarah jumped into Xander’s lap when she saw a mouse. They nearly kissed, but Philip interrupted them. Kate (Lauren Koslow) lectured Philip for his actions. Philip blamed himself for Xander and Sarah’s split and declared they were meant to be. Chad (Conner Floyd) told Belle (Martha Madison) he couldn’t go to Italy because of a father-daughter dance with Charlotte (Autumn Gendron). Belle called off the trip. They vowed to keep searching for answers about the chessboard. After they talked, Gus supported Javi going to Alamainia to help Leo. In Alamainia, Leo figured out that Dimitri was holding Gwen in the same place where Dimitri had been held captive. Leo managed to get on the grounds and find Gwen. Then he learned Dimitri set him up. Dimitri lured Leo there as part of his plan to keep Gwen and Leo there until Leo realized they belonged together. Back in Salem, Brady (Eric Martsolf) had breakfast with Rachel (Lorelei Olivia Mote). Sarah joined them, but Rachel insisted Kristen would be there soon. Brady got a text from Kristen saying she had left town, and he immediately texted Marlena (Deidre Hall) to meet him.
