Stories of the Past
Tate (Leo Howard) and Holly (Ashley Puzemis) prepare to interview Julie (Susan Seaforth Hayes) and Marie (Maree Cheatham) for their class project. “We really appreciate you sitting down with us,” says Tate.
Both women are eager to participate. “Now, what kind of stories do you want to hear?” retorts Marie.
Fears of the Present
At the hospital, Chad (Billy Flynn) and Jennifer (Melissa Reeves) await news of Thomas’ (Christopher Cary) condition. Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) emerges, and the duo jump up in unison.
“Kayla, how’s Thomas?” asks Chad. “Is he okay?” adds a concerned Jennifer
Enlightening Conversations…
Lani (Sal Stowers) has a heart-to-heart with Abe (James Reynolds, who reflects on his historic run on DAYS) about the tension between him and her mother. “He chose to confide in Paulina (Jackée Harry) instead of you,” notes Lani, referring to Theo (Tyler Joseph Andrews). “Did you ever ask yourself why?”
And Revelations
Will (Chandler Massey) discovers something interesting when he connects with his mom, Sami (Alison Sweeney). She’s donning a diamond ring on her left hand. “This means you’re engaged,” he deduces. Sami responds with a smile.
A Gala to Remember
Jennifer takes the stage at the night’s big gala. “University Hospital brought the community together for laughter, charity, and hope,” begins Jennifer. “So with the opening of the Dr. Tom Horton Free Clinic, my grandfather’s legacy will continue to serve the community all the days of our lives.”
Julie attentively listens to her cousin’s speech with her brother, Steven (Stephen Schnetzer), beside her, as do Marie and Jennifer’s brother, Mike (Roark Critchlow). Eli (Lamon Archey) and Lucas (Bryan Dattilo) are on hand, too (find out who else is returning in the latest DAYS Comings & Goings).
A Woman Held Hostage
Meanwhile, Kristen (Stacy Haiduk), who had been serving time in prison for the shooting of her brother, EJ (Dan Feuerriegel), suddenly finds herself bound and captive somewhere. A man begins to tinker with her blindfold, and Kristen asks, “Where the hell am I?”
