Mistaken Culprit?
Cat (AnnaLynne McCord) is irate when she suspects the worst of EJ (Dan Feuerriegel). Finally, she decides to confront him. “Are you responsible for Stephanie’s kidnapping?” she asks him.
Meanwhile, in the hospital basement, Jeremy (Michael Roark) struggles to free himself from the real kidnapper, Owen (Wes Ramsey). A distraught Stephanie (Abigail Klein) looks on, hoping for the best.
Cry for Help
Later, Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) looks to Cat for help to save Stephanie. “My daughter’s life is on the line here,” Kayla tells her. Cat attempts to enter the code that would open the secret rooms beneath the hospital.
Alex (Robert Scott Wilson) and Rafe (Galen Gering) appear to make their way into the area. Rafe draws his gun as the duo enters slowly, and both men look surprised at what they discover. Alex ultimately finds Stephanie, who’s kissing Owen in a desperate attempt to set herself free. As soon as she sees her husband, she lets out a huge scream. “Help,” she cries.
Return from the Dead
Meanwhile, Rafe makes his way into the secret lab and happens upon the pod that contains Lexie’s (Nikki Crawford) body. However, he’s not sure exactly what – or who – it is.
Paulina (Jackée Harry), however, is sure of who it is when the pod opens, and she sees Lexie, her husband Abe’s “late” wife. She can’t believe her eyes, nor what this could all mean for her happy marriage to Abe (James Reynolds).
EJ uses the moment to taunt his nemesis. “To keep Abe from his dearly departed wife and Theo from his sainted mother…” he begins. “I’d hate for them to find out it was you who stopped this miracle from happening.” Obviously, Paulina’s in a major quandary over how to proceed (Will Abe ultimately choose Lexie or Paulina?).
