Plus, a pair of newlyweds prepare to say goodbye, two women lash out with a slap and a splash, and someone is accused of a heinous crime. Here’s your DAYS video preview for the week of January 19-23, 2026.
Key Takeaways
- A joyful christening brings Salem together—even fractured relationships show up.
- Guilt weighs heavily on a child as a custody battle reaches a breaking point.
- Emotions erupt with slaps, splashes, and a shocking accusation.
Baby Love
Friends and family gather for the christening of baby Trey. “Supported by all of you… by his godparents,” announces the priest officiating, while Chanel (Raven Bowens) holds her new son and Johnny (Carson Boatman) stands by her side. Although estranged, Leo (Greg Rikaart) and Javi (Al Calderon, who’s leaving DAYS) come together for the child’s baptism.
A Child’s Guilt
Thomas (Cary Christopher) begins to feel the heat as the mediation between his father, Chad (Billy Flynn), and his grandparents, Jack (Matthew Ashford) and Jennifer (Melissa Reeves), heats up over custody of him and his sister, Charlotte (Autumn Gendron). A battle he ultimately set in motion.
“I just feel like everyone’s mad at everyone else,” Thomas opens up to Jeremy (Michael Roark). “And it’s all my fault.”
Time of Truth
Meanwhile, the proceedings begin. Jack, Jennifer, and Chad are all on hand and ready for a decision to be made.
“Mr. DiMera, let’s start with you,” says the mediator. “How do you propose we resolve this custody dispute?”
Separate Ways
Leo and Javi go from exchanging “I Do’s” to going their separate ways when Javi makes plans to leave town. However, Leo intercepts him.
“We’ve got to make it quick, because I have a plane to catch,” says Javi. “I have no intention of saying goodbye,” retorts Leo.
Making A Splash
Across town, Gwen (Emily O’Brien) lets Dimitri (Peter Porte) know exactly what she thinks of him with the use of a cold drink. She picks up a glass and pours its contents over his head.
Slap Happy
At Bayview Sanitarium, Sophia (Rachel Boyd) lets out some powerful feelings of her own. She writes a large note that reads, “I hate her!!!”
Later, Holly (Ashley Puzemis), the obvious object of that hate, stops by to visit Rachel (Alice Halsey). However, Sophia is there and greets Holly with a slap, just as Dr. Gregory (Kim Hawthorne) rushes in.
Falsely Accused?
There’s a knock on the door at the Horton house, and Julie (Susan Seaforth Hayes) and Jeremy rush to answer it. To their surprise, it’s Jada (Elia Cantu), and she’s there on official police business.
“Someone has been stalking and threatening Stephanie (Abigail Klein),” says Jada. Then she turns to Jeremy and proclaims, “And we have evidence that that person is you.” Is Jeremy really the man behind the crime, or is he being set up by someone more calculated?
