Longtime couples celebrate their love, new couples embark on romance, and a pair of former lovers hit the sheets, according to Days of our Lives spoilers. Meanwhile, Chad prepares to leave Salem with his children, but not before saying a poignant goodbye to his beloved late wife, Abigail. Here’s your DAYS video preview for the week of February 16-20, 2026.
Love Is in the Air
Some of Salem’s favorite couples celebrate Valentine’s Day. Paulina (Jackée Harry) and Abe (James Reynolds) make a toast in honor of the occasion, while Steve (Stephen Nichols) and Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) share a sweet kiss across the table at the Bistro.
Meanwhile, budding new duo Sarah (Linsey Godfrey) and Brady (Eric Martsolf) spontaneously pucker up outside the Brady Pub. And Gabi (Cherie Jimenez) and Philip (John-Paul Lavoisier) have a steamy get-together too. He’s shirtless, and she’s clad in a bath towel.
Last, but not least, newlyweds Stephanie (Abigail Klein) and Alex (Robert Scott Wilson) lock lips. Then it’s time to get on with their wedding night and consummate their marriage.
Sex and Fantasies
A pair of ex-lovers end up together, too. Namely, Xander (Paul Telfer), and Gwen (Emily O’Brien), who finally gets to reconnect with the one man who got away. It looks like the twosome ends up in Xander’s hotel room, where Gwen pushes him down on his bed.
Theo (Tyler Joseph Andrews) is on a date with Jada (Elia Cantu), but his mind is wandering off to someone else. He’s fantasizing about spending the evening with Gabi.
“Theo?” says Jada, who can sense that her date is distracted. “Hmmm,” responds Theo. “Where did you just go?” asks Jada.
Chad Says Goodbye
After announcing that he’s taking his children and heading to Arizona, Chad (Billy Flynn, whose last day on DAYS is Tuesday, February 17) prepares for some poignant goodbyes. Jack (Matthew Ashford) and Jennifer (Melissa Reeves) are among the mix as they wish their former son-in-law and their grandchildren, Thomas (Christopher Cary) and Charlotte (Autumn Gendron), a fond farewell. Julie (Susan Seaforth Hayes) is on hand to bid the happy little family adieu, too.
Chad pays a visit to Abigail’s grave and shares a quiet moment with his late wife. “It’s goodbye, but I know that I will take a piece of you and Salem with me wherever I go,” says Chad. Then he wishes Abby a Happy Valentine’s Day and leaves a heart-shaped candy on her headstone.

Later, back at the Horton house, Chad clutches his and Abby’s wedding photo to his chest as his eyes well up with tears. Then, he takes one final look around the living room before leaving Salem.
