I’m Taking My Ball and Going Home

Theresa (Emily O’Brien) found a ring in Alex’s (Robert Scott Wilson) jacket pocket. She assumed he was going to propose. She assumed he was going to propose on Valentine’s Day. She expected her ring at breakfast. She expected her ring during a romantic walk in the park. She expected her ring over dinner. When it failed to materialize, Theresa threw a fit (refresh your memory here) and announced to Alex that she’d be moving out. How dare he string her along like this? By doing nothing, no less!

The Parent Trap

Brady (Eric Martsolf) celebrated Valentine’s Day by getting into a screaming match with Kristen (Stacy Haiduk). Not that Kristen doesn’t deserve being screamed at. Kristen should be screamed at from morning to night. But maybe not in front of Rachel (Finley Rose Slater). Who is a brat of monumental proportions.

But having her parents constantly screaming at each other isn’t going to help that. Brady feels super-guilty. So he confides in his stepmother…the shrink. Meanwhile, Sloan (Jessica Serfaty) could probably use a shrink herself.

To deal with her jealousy over baby Jude stealing Eric’s (Greg Vaughan) attention. (Um, Sloan, sweetie, what did you expect? The man made it clear he was only marrying you in order to become a dad. He told you. You refused to listen.) But Sloan can’t very well talk to Eric’s mom about her issues. Good thing Melinda (Tina Huang) has nothing better to do.

Revenge Roundabout

Just in case Ava (Tamra Braun) and Stefan (Brandon Barash) thought they could wriggle off the drug-dealing hook Clyde (James Read) baited for them, the fire at the Horton house and Harris’s (Steve Burton) shooting put an end to that fantasy. To drive the lesson home, Stefan repeats it to Ava. But, based on her behavior in the hospital chapel, she got the message loud and clear. Or did she?
