Days of our Lives spoilers for Friday, December 22, 2023, bring the who’s who of Salem to Doug and Julie’s house to hang their ornaments and celebrate the holiday. Make sure to tune in for this heartfelt episode.

Days of our Lives Spoilers Highlights

It’s a great day for Julie (Susan Seaforth Hayes) and Doug (Bill Hayes) as they open their doors and ready themselves for the onslaught of guests and Christmas cheer. As they get the house in order, the sweet couple looks back on all the Christmases gone by. (Relive last year’s Christmas here.)

Guests And Absentees

Chad (Billy Flynn) and the kids arrive, and it’s clear they’re having a tough time this year. The children miss their mom…and they miss Stephanie (Abigail Klein). It’s not easy for the children to go through so much at once.

As for Stephanie, she’s off with Everett (Blake Berris). He needs help with an article, and she fully intends to keep this all very professional. Will it still be that way at the end of the night?

Back at the party, Sarah (Linsey Godfrey) and Xander (Paul Telfer) arrive with baby Victoria. He’s happy to be welcomed in with open arms (at least for today). What they aren’t so happy about is seeing Konstantin (John Kapelos) with Maggie (Suzanne Rogers).

It wouldn’t be a holiday without a little tiff. Who better to cause tension than Brady (Eric Martsolf) and Theresa (Emily O’Brien). The pair have it out about Alex (Robert Scott Wilson) until their son interrupts. Tate (James Martin Mann) reaches his breaking point and puts his parents on blast.

An Evening Steeped In Tradition

When all is said and done, this day is one for family, friends, and sharing in the Christmas spirit. Those at the party take time to honor those who are surrounding them, those who are not, and those who will sadly never be with them again.
