Joy (AlexAnn Hopkins) informed Kate (Lauren Koslow) that she was being discharged. Kate wondered where Joy would go. Joy revealed that the rehab places wouldn’t let her have Kelsey (Lena and Mira Chase) with her. Kate gave her options, but Joy already had a plan. Shawn (Brandon Beemer) and Jada (Elia Cantu) watched Kelsey, so Alex (Robert Scott Wilson) could surprise Stephanie (Abigail Klein) with a night at their apartment. Stephanie and Alex enjoyed their time together. They planned to see each other more. Joy called and asked to live with Alex, who agreed. Alex made it clear that Joy would spend time with Kelsey so Alex could be with his wife more. Later, Stephanie told Alex she was only going along with the plan to see him more. Joy looked at a picture of Kelsey and said they were moving in with her dad and would never move out. Maggie summoned Philip (John-Paul Lavoisier), Xander (Paul Telfer), and Sarah to the Brady Pub. Kate and Maggie revealed their plan to have the Kiriakis mansion fail the inspection to stop the sale to Dominic. Sarah was worried about her lawsuit, but ended up all in and volunteered Brady to help. Roman (Josh Taylor) overheard the conversation and asked about it. She called Marlena and Belle (Martha Madison) to reveal Dominic was coming to Salem once he was ready to make a move. Dante shocked Sydney when he suggested she stick around Salem. Marlena told Belle that Dominic might be her and Stefano’s son. Belle hoped Dominic would show up soon so they could do a DNA test on him. At the police station, Leo and EJ exchanged barbs. Jada questioned EJ about the tainted Coriseal and Holly. EJ denied all. George also didn’t spill any information. Jada goaded him until EJ realized Johnny turned on him. Chad (Conner Floyd) showed up at the hospital to support Belle. They discussed EJ. Belle shared that EJ was shaken at Johnny being the informant. She explained charges may not be brought against EJ, but she had another idea. After Belle filled Chad in on Leo’s arrest, she asked Chad to let Leo expose EJ through the newspaper. Chad was taken aback at first, but eventually agreed to help bring down his brother. Kalya talked to Joy about her discharge. Joy kept referring to her and Alex as “we.” Kayla reminded Joy that Stephanie was willing to accommodate Joy for Kelsey and Alex’s sake. Alex arrived to take Joy back to his apartment. Joy got settled in. Alex made it clear he would do anything for Kelsey. In the hallway, Alex and Stephanie kissed. They stole a moment together before he went to get the rest of Joy’s things. When he left, Stephanie heard Kelsey crying. Stephanie turned the doorknob to enter the apartment as Joy got out of her wheelchair to soothe Kelsey.
