Days of our Lives spoilers for Wednesday, September 25, place Sarah, the true victim of the hit and run which left her paralyzed, in the position of having to keep Xander from doing something stupid — in her name.
Look, Xander (Paul Telfer), we get it. You feel terrible that you weren’t able to save your wife from her accident. Since you can do nothing to help Sarah (Linsey Godfrey) get back up on her feet faster, you’ve decided that bringing her assailant, Brady (Eric Martsolf), to justice will somehow relieve some of the crushing guilt you’re struggling with. But have you considered that thanks to your obsessive baseball bat waving, you have now forced Sarah to pause her recovery (not to mention taking care of your child) and expend the effort, instead, on managing your over-the-top emotions? She is begging you to get over your obsession with Brady. Is that really how you want to be expressing your support? By making her life harder?
Meanwhile, your marriage to Sarah may be put to the test in another way when Fiona (Serena Scott Thomas) confides in Maggie (Suzanne Rogers)—something that Sarah’s mother may have no interest in knowing.
MORE: Find out what happens next week on DAYS.
Eric (Greg Vaughan) left Nicole (Arianne Zucker) and baby Jude back in Paris so he could return to Salem to support Brady. Eric once drove drunk and hit a person himself, so he knows what Brady is going through.
We hope he doesn’t tell Brady, “It’s not all bad. You might eventually hook up with your victim’s widow!” Because that’s not relevant here. Also, considering how Holly (Ashley Puzemis) is currently hating on Eric, he probably doesn’t fondly look back on that part of his past.

Holly is furious with Tate (Leo Howard) for seeing his father’s side of things when Holly’s own father was killed by a drunk driver. (Holly is right; being drunk doesn’t excuse what Brady supposedly did, but yelling at her boyfriend won’t change that.) But if Holly is going to be mad at Tate, she can’t blame him for hanging out with Sophia (Madelyn Kientz) instead. And, yes, Holly thinks that she can.
