On the Thursday, February 1 episode of Days of our Lives, a lovesick Harris talks through his feelings about Ava with Salem’s favorite therapist, Marlena Evans.
Feelings are Good
Even though Marlena (Deidre Hall) needs to figure out what’s going on with John (Drake Hogestyn) at home (he’s looking positively rough these days), the people of Salem continue to need her. If it isn’t Paulina (Jackée Harry) taking up time in her office, it’s Alex (Robert Scott Wilson). Once again, she tries to help Harris (Steve Burton) open up and communicate his inner thoughts and desires.
In his case, he needs to talk through his feelings for Ava (Tamara Braun). At one point, the two developed a solid relationship. Then Salem’s drug epidemic happened. Suddenly, Ava’s hot and cold (read about that here), and it’s twisting him inside and out. Especially since up until somewhat recently, he was basically Megan Hathaway’s brainwashed automaton. Meaning Harris doesn’t know how to handle deep, substantial feelings, particularly when dealing with a complicated woman who’s currently in a fake relationship. Marlena better give him some of the best advice of her life.
No Sympathy for the Devil
Much like Ava, Sloan Petersen (Jessica Serfaty) is a complicated woman. However, her current needs are simple. She wants time alone with her husband, Eric (Greg Vaughan, could he end up back on GH?). With a new baby (that doesn’t belong to Sloan), being blackmailed, and throwing disastrous dinner parties, she and Eric aren’t getting much of a chance to be intimate.
So when the two do get a few minutes to themselves, they’re interrupted. Prayers must not be doing their job. Guess working out an intricate schedule probably isn’t either. So what’s it going to take for Sloan and Eric to get some hot and heavy alone time together? A deal with the Devil? Because in Salem, that can be arranged.
Help They Need Somebody
While Lucas (Bryan Dattilo) has to be grateful for being out of Statesville, he’s still feeling stuck. The only people who know he’s in hiding upstairs from The Pub are Kate (Lauren Koslow) and Roman (Josh Taylor). So he feels the need to get creative. He takes a chance by summoning Chad (Billy Flynn) and Everett (Blake Berris) for an interview. What could possibly go wrong?
Finally, Theresa (Emily O’Brien) has a work crisis that, unfortunately, Alex (Robert Scott Wilson) can’t fix. It’s a possibility that Brady (Eric Martsolf) can, however. How wise will it be if Theresa turns to Brady knowing damn well Alex is suddenly a jealous, possessive kind of guy?
