Video Preview
Here’s your video preview for the week of January 29 – February 2, 2024. John Black’s past as The Pawn is about to resurface big way time. Plus, Lucas takes center stage in a surprising new way.
Power and The Pawn
Steve (Stephen Nichols) finally decides to come clean to John (Drake Hogestyn) about Konstantin (John Kapelos). “He knows about ‘The Pawn,’” warns Steve. Color John shocked. “What?” he gasps.
While the two men ponder what that knowledge could ultimately mean, Konstantin holds a mysterious card in his room at the Kiriakis mansion. The question is what does the card mean and have the power to do?
Later, in bed with Kayla (Mary Beth Evans), Steve opens up about the predicament that’s been haunting him. “I smell…” he begins. “Trouble,” finishes Kayla.
Facing the Truth
Paulina’s (Jackée Harry) health takes a turn for the worse. After an examination with Sarah (Linsey Godfrey), she comes clean to her daughter, Chanel (Raven Bowens). “I have cancer,” announces Paulina.
Surprise Development
Kate (Lauren Koslow) and Roman (Josh Taylor) are about to enter the Brady Pub, when Kate peeks through the window and sees something surprising. “What the hell?” she asks. It looks like Harris (Steve Burton) might know what’s going on. “No one can find out,” he later tells Roman.
Tears and Cheers
Everett (Blake Berris) and Stephanie (Abigail Klein) share an emotional moment together. As Stephanie begins to sob, Everett speaks from the heart and tells her, “I am so sorry that I hurt you.”
Things appear a lot less tense between Alex (Robert Scott Wilson) and Theresa (Emily O’Brien). Alone in their apartment, Alex stands up, raises his arm in the air, and cheers. Theresa follows his lead with a great big scream. Could the pair be celebrating something?
Time for the Truth
Meanwhile, Lucas (Bryan Dattilo), who’s in hiding, summons Chad (Billy Flynn) and Everett for a secret meeting. “I have a hell of a story to tell you,” he informs the two Spectator workers.
Later, Chad issues a warning to Johnny (Carson Boatman), who’s eagerly awaiting his Valentine’s Day wedding to Chanel. “If you really love Chanel, keep her as far away from you as possible,” urges Chad.
Turning Up the Heat
New parents Eric (Greg Vaughan) and Sloan (Jessica Serfaty) decide to concentrate on one another. The duo gets hot and heavy for the first time since Jude entered their family.
Things take a pretty steamy turn between pretend couple Stefan (Brandon Barash) and Ava (Tamara Braun) too. During a phone call where the pair is apparently spatting, Stefan yells, “I don’t think I’ve ever seen a woman with as little sex appeal as you.”
But later he turns up on Ava’s doorstep and the dynamic between them suddenly shifts. Stefan and Ava share a kiss and then start tearing each other’s clothes off. Seems like it’s out of sight, out of mind regarding Gabi and Harris. See it all for yourself in the promo video below.
