Dreams of the Future

Things start out beautifully. A smitten Tripp (Lucas Adams) finds the perfect place to propose to his girlfriend, Allie (Lindsay Arnold). The pair are outdoors, and there are twinkle lights around them.

When Allie arrives, Tripp gets down on one knee and asks, “Allie Horton, will you marry me?” Allie looks happy and appears to say yes, because, minutes later, she and Tripp are celebrating alone. However, their special moment and dreams of a future together are interrupted.

DAYS Spoilers: Celebration Interruption

Suddenly, Chanel Dupree (Raven Bowens) and Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) arrive on the scene and learn about the couple’s engagement. Allie’s possessed twin, who’s all about causing harm and destruction, sees it as the perfect moment to drop a bombshell on Tripp.

“Have you told Tripp?” Johnny asks Allie, cryptically. Of course, Tripp is confused and wants to know what’s been kept from him. The Devil is only too happy to oblige. “That she slept with my wife,” says Johnny, referring to Allie and Chanel’s passionate night together, after Johnny dumped Chanel.

Allie looks horrified, and so does Chanel. After all, they agreed their tryst was a one-time thing and vowed to keep it a secret forever.

Shattered Forever?

Now that their encounter is out of the bag, Allie is scrambling over what to do. She knows she has to do damage control and pleads with her new fiancé. “Tripp, I love you so much. It was a mistake,” she passionately insists.

Will Tripp forgive Allie’s indiscretion? Or is it too much for him to handle? Is the sweet young couple finished forever?

Tripp and Allie, both end up at the pub, where Roman Brady (Josh Taylor) and Kate Roberts (Lauren Koslow) are on hand. Tripp is still reeling from Allie’s betrayal, while Allie has tears in her eyes and looks absolutely heartbroken.

Kate gets into the mix trying to patch things up between the lovebirds. “Can’t you find it in your heart to forgive her?” she asks Tripp. You’ll have to tune in to Days of our Lives to find out. In the meantime, see it all for yourself in the video preview below.
