DAYS Spoilers Weekly Recap
Bonnie Lockhart Kiriakis (Judi Evans) started to realize that Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) was the clown who kidnapped her, but Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) knocked her out. Gwen and Xander set it up as if Xander were also taken hostage and then, Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart) got dressed up like the kidnapper clown and terrorized Bonnie and Xander. Later, Bonnie hailed Xander as a hero when he rescued her.
Elsewhere, Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) had explosive plans for EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) — a bomb at his mother, Susan Banks’s (Stacy Haiduk) memorial! Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) nearly foiled her plans, though, when he spotted her and realized she was alive. Ultimately, Tripp Johnson (Lucas Adams) walked into the trap that Ava had set for EJ, and she tried to stop the bomb, but alas, she wasn’t in time. Talk about a cliffhanger.
The Days of our Lives Week Ahead
Coming up, in the aftermath of the explosion, lives in Salem hang in the balance. Tripp finds himself devastated when Ava takes a turn for the worse. While things are pretty glum for some Salemites for Christmas, others still manage to receive some blessings.
For instance, Rex Brady drops in for a surprise Christmas visit, delighting Kate Roberts (Lauren Koslow). Plus, Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) receives a heavenly visit from his late wife, Abigail Deveraux DiMera (Marci Miller). It’s sure to end up being a heartwarming holiday despite the issues in Salem.
