Xander Cook knows who his true love is on Days of our Lives. He just married Sarah Horton, and he doesn’t want anything to get in the way of their future wedded bliss. He said as much to his ex-love, Gwen Rizczech.

True That
It’s not even a contest, 75% of you dismiss. Sarah (Linsey Godfrey) is Xander’s soul mate, and they’ve both known it from the start. Xander stood by Sarah when she was pregnant with Eric Brady’s (Greg Vaughan) baby. Then, when that baby died, Xander switched poor little Mackenzie with Rachel Isabella Black. Sarah forgave Xander for that…eventually. Which is why you feel confident she’ll also ultimately forgive him for letting Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) hire him to kidnap Susan Banks (Stacy Haiduk). And then they’ll live happily ever after.

Xander Cook: True Self
A much smaller 14% of the audience misses the days when Xander and Gwen were scheming together. That was the real Xander, not this nice guy stressing about supporting his wife and refusing to take her mother’s money. Old Xander would have taken everything Maggie Horton Kiriakis (Suzanne Rogers) had to offer, and asked for cab money on top of that. We miss that Xander. We want him back. And Gwen is the one who will remind him of who he used to be.
Forget Salem
And then there are the 11% who wish he’d forget about them both and play the field again. When the shirt comes off, that chest is way too nice to be delegated to the domain of a single woman. Everyone should get the chance to enjoy it. And that means we need Xander to spread the wealth around.
