DAYS spoilers weekly update for December 27 – 31, 2021, tease the week ahead is full of a daring ritual that pushes Salem to its limits, a wrongly accused man behind bars, and a toast to the new year. Tune in next week so you can catch all of the action in Salem!

DAYS Spoilers Weekly Recap

Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) and Chanel Dupree (Raven Bowens) returned from Italy with a huge surprise – they’re married! Not so shockingly, their parents didn’t take it well. EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) even threatened to cut off his impulsive son.

Speaking of Sami Brady DiMera (Alison Sweeney), her kidnapper was revealed and it was a jaw-dropper. Lucas Horton (Bryan Dattilo) was the man behind the black-gloved hand. He held Sami captive with the help of two jailhouse buddies in the hopes of playing her hero and having her fall for him. Obviously, that plan didn’t work. So, instead, he framed EJ for the whole thing.

The Devil worked overtime to take down Belle Black Brady (Martha Madison) and used Jan to do it. Satan woke up the coma patient, turned her into Faux Belle, and sicced her on Shawn. Jan Spears (Heather Lindell) was happy to help…until the devil sent the real Belle over and all hell broke loose.

The Days of our Lives Week Ahead

Viewers know the real person behind Sami’s kidnapping, but Lucas’s bozo hasn’t given up Lucas’s name to Belle yet, meaning EJ’s innocence is still a question. According to DAYS spoilers, the real criminal won’t be outed in time for EJ not to spend his Christmas alone and behind bars.

Adamant that he wasn’t the perpetrator, Sami agrees to hear EJ out. Will she believe him? Especially after they had just agreed before EJ was arrested, that they want to work things out between them.

Speaking of working things out, when word that Sami and EJ are reconciling makes its way to Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker), not surprisingly she’s furious and floored. Watch for her anger to eat her up inside and slowly make her come undone. Will she lash out at Sami in a bid to get EJ back?

John Black’s (Drake Hogestyn) Christmas wish may just come true by midnight. On Christmas morning he, along with Marlena Evans Black’s (Deidre Hall) friends and family, band together to begin the daunting task at hand… Performing an exorcism on the good doc. Watch for Brady Black (Eric Martsolf), Belle, Sami, Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan), Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold), and the newly married Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) to command the Devil to get the hell out of dodge. Will their efforts be successful?
