DAYS spoilers for November 27 – December 1, 2023, show Nicole’s heartbreak over losing her baby boy intensifies when she holds Eric’s son in her arms. Her pain and suffering could all go away, if Dimitri steps forward and exposes the baby swap…and that could be a very real possibility. The truth always comes out… eventually. Dimitri is holding all the cards to make Sloan and Melinda’s unspeakable scheme explode.
DAYS Spoilers Video Preview
An encounter with Eric (Greg Vaughan) and his “adopted” son sparks something in Nicole (Arianne Zucker) when she holds the infant. “This is my baby. This is my son,” says Nicole, suddenly elated.
EJ (Dan Feuerriegel) arrives on the scene and, like Eric, is heartbroken by the sight he witnesses. Both men, of course, wrongly believe that Nicole’s baby died after being born. So they try to convince Nicole that she’s sadly mistaken, but she won’t hear of it. “I saw his face. I would know it anywhere,” she insists.
Confronting Sloan
Later, Sloan (Jessica Serfaty) turns up at the DiMera mansion, and Nicole confronts her about the baby, while EJ looks on. “How did you get him? I need to know,” pleads Nicole. Not surprisingly, Sloan isn’t about to reveal the truth. She’s in too deep with this baby swap plot with Melinda (Tina Huang).
Lambasting Leo
A frustrated EJ decides to pay a visit to Leo (Greg Rikaart), who’s being held at the police station. EJ blames him and his boyfriend Dimitri (Peter Porte), who caused the car crash Nicole was involved in, for his child’s “death.”
EJ explodes at Leo for his wife’s current state of devastation. “She’s going to grieve and suffer for the rest of her life,” he spats.
A Father’s Love
Meanwhile, Eric is falling deeply in love with his “adopted” son, clueless to the fact that the baby is actually his and Nicole’s biological child – the boy Nicole is grieving. As he cradles the infant in his arms, he tells Marlena, “I just can’t imagine losing him.”
“You’re in love with him,” says Marlena, already sensing the bond between them. “I am,” admits Eric.
Truth and Consequences
The perfect father and son moment is actually because of an elaborately twisted scheme. It looks like that calculated plot could be in real danger now that Dimitri has resurfaced and quickly puts two and two together. Remember, he was the one who delivered Nicole’s healthy baby to Sloan and Melinda.
“How stupid do you think I am?” Dimitri asks Sloan upon coming face-to-face with her. “You took the baby for yourself.” Sloan realizes the picture-perfect family she’s “created” with Eric could be exposed in a heartbeat if Dimitri mentions his theory to anyone. And, he immediately threatens to do just that. “I’m going to sing like a canary,” he tells her. That is, unless Sloan does something to keep him quiet. See the video promo for yourself below.
