DAYS Spoilers Video Preview: Johnny’s Sex, Scandal, and Sami Film

Move over Quentin Tarantino and James Cameron. There’s a new filmmaker on the horizon, or at least he has big dreams of becoming one. DAYS spoilers reveal that Johnny DiMera’s talk about making a movie comes into focus this week as viewers finally learn the subject of his project.

What’s it all about? Major Salemite fans know and love it, and it’s peppered with all kinds of scandal. Here’s your Days of our Lives spoilers video preview for the week of September 13 – September 17, 2021.

Lights…

Johnny’s (Carson Boatman) been rambling on about his movie-making aspirations since arriving in Salem, while trying to find backers to finance the project. He shares key information about the story he wants to bring to the big screen with his grandparents, Roman Brady (Josh Taylor), and Kate Roberts DiMera (Lauren Koslow). “I’m going to make a move about my mom’s life,” Johnny tells the surprised twosome. That’s right, the film is about his mother, Sami Brady DiMera (Alison Sweeney).

Camera…

Later, during a dinner date out with Chanel Dupree (Raven Bowens), Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold), and Tripp Johnson (Lucas Adams), Johnny’s film becomes the topic of conversation. It looks like he might even have someone in mind for the starring role.

Apparently, it’s not a big Hollywood star but rather another Salemite viewers know and love. “You want me to play Mom in your movie?” asks Johnny’s twin sister, Allie, who’s clearly caught off guard by the suggestion.

Johnny also discusses the details of his project with his father, EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel), as well. When EJ learns it’s a story about Sami, he has one thing to say. “I was the love of your mother’s life,” EJ tells his son. However, Johnny begs to differ. “That title belongs to Lucas (Bryan Dattilo),” he retorts, pushing every one of his father’s buttons.

Meanwhile, Marlena, who knows more details about Johnny’s film, isn’t pleased either. Cut to a flashback of the night Marlena Evans and John Black succumbed to passion on a conference room desk, and Sami caught them in the act. “Johnny is going to portray how his mother found out we were having an affair,” Marlena tells an incredulous John. “Excuse me,” he retorts, appalled by the idea of the family’s dirty laundry being aired in public.
