DAYS spoilers tease that it’s a good week for a wedding or two, and the soap is hosting a pair of them: Gwen Rizczech’s nuptials to Xander Cook and Craig Wesley’s “I do” exchange with Leo Stark. But as longtime viewers know, matrimony and mayhem always go hand and hand in Salem, and at least one of these ceremonies is going to implode.

Here’s your video preview for the week of April 18 – April 22, 2022. It looks like Gwen is finally going to get her comeuppance when her dirty little secrets are exposed.
Wedding Daze
The day begins happy enough. “Xander and I are getting married today,” says a joyful Gwen, who’s walked down the aisle by her father, Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford), who is there with his wife Jennifer Horton Deveraux (Melissa Reeves). But by the time Gwen reaches her groom, things take a nasty turn.
Abigail Deveraux DiMera (Marci Miller) suddenly takes center stage, obviously having gotten the goods on her twisted sister and ready to reveal everything she knows. “Don’t do this,” pleads Gwen. But after everything Abigail’s endured at her half-sister’s hands, she won’t be deterred. “Oh, you are going down,” she sneers.

The Brit Hits the Fan
“Gwen knew that Sarah (Linsey Godfrey) was alive,” announces Abigail, as the assembled guests react in shock. Seconds later, Jack is stunned, very likely by another one of Abigail’’s revelations. “Is that true?” Jack asks, lunging toward Gwen.
As the walls quickly close in on Gwen, she reverts to her old self and erupts in anger. “You go to hell,” she screeches at Abigail.
Meanwhile, a crushed Xander can’t believe everything he’s hearing. He’s shocked, disappointed, and, it looks like, totally through with Gwen. “You are the worst person I have ever known,” Xander tells her. All Gwen can do is whimper, knowing her dream day has turned into a nightmare. See it all for yourself in the promo below.
