DAYS Spoilers Video Preview

It’s the most wonderful night of the year, Christmas Eve. That means it’s time for an annual Salem tradition. “Gather round, everyone. Time to hang the Horton ornaments,” announces Julie (Susan Seaforth Hayes).

Everyone’s enjoying the evening at the Horton house: Doug (Bill Hayes), Maggie (Suzanne Rogers), Sarah (Linsey Godfrey), Xander (Paul Telfer), Chad (Billy Flynn), Thomas (Henry Witcher), Charlotte (Autumn Gendron) and even Everett (Blake Berris).

Maggie embraces Sarah, who notes, “It’s a special night, Victoria’s first Christmas.” That means the baby girl’s shiny new holiday ornament is about to make its debut. Sarah opts to let Xander hang in on the tree, and he does so with pride. (Read more about baby Victoria and her parents here.)

There’s a flashback of Christmas past, featuring Tom (Macdonald Carey) and Alice (Frances Reid) as Julie reminisces about the pair and cuddles up to Doug. “Grandma and Grandpa, how proud they’d be to know their legacy goes on,” declares Julie.

Friends and Family Gather

Theresa (Emily O’Brien) welcomes a surprise visit from her brother, Andrew (Colton Little), and the two siblings embrace in the park. “Merry Christmas, big bro,” says a joyful Theresa. But what’s Andrew really doing in town? Is it just a holiday visit or something more?

Meanwhile, at Brady Pub, it’s a gathering of some beloved couples: John (Drake Hogestyn) and Marlena (Deidre Hall), Steve (Stephen Nichols) and Kayla (Mary Beth Evans), and Roman (Josh Taylor) and Kate (Lauren Koslow). Steve raises his glass and makes a toast, “To another crazy year in Salem.”

Across town, Theresa and Brady (Eric Martsolf) spend the evening with their son Tate (Jamie Martin Mann). It looks like the former couple are on their best behavior and actually getting along, and their son notices. “Did we just get a compliment from our son?” asks Theresa. “It’s a Christmas miracle,” quips Brady.
