Why else would she have decided to apply for a job as a baker when, as her sister felt obliged to remind her, she is a graduate of Stanford medical school? Jada may be out of ideas, but we have a few.

Just because Talia (Aketra Sevillian) graduated from medical school doesn’t mean she’s automatically a doctor. There’s still the United States Medical Licensing Examination, a three-part test…which Talia could have failed.
We know, we know, when an airhead like Sarah (Linsey Godfrey) apparently managed to pass it, and so did Tripp (Lucas Adams) after only a few months of formal education, how hard could it be? But maybe Talia was too busy perfecting her cookie recipe to study.
Dreams of My Days of our Lives Father
Talia and Jada’s (Elia Cantu) dad, Marcus, was a doctor. When his older girl decided to go into law enforcement, Marcus could have focused all his professional hopes and dreams on Talia. Talia may have gone to college and medical school to please Daddy. But now she’s her own person. And sick people are icky. Cake is better.
DAYS Spoilers: Mistakes Were Made
Salem may have developed the cure for death, thanks to Dr. Rolf. But if Talia was practicing in California, she likely wasn’t so lucky. Everyone makes mistakes, sure. But when you’re a doctor, and that mistake leads to, you know, death, there may be consequences.
Talia could have made a terrible error, which ended her career for good. She doesn’t want to talk about it. And Jada should respect that. Not everyone wants to make a life amidst dead bodies. Let your baby sister lead her own life.
