DAYS spoilers predict tough times coming for Belle and Shawn. Well, more tough times. They’ve already struggled most recently with Shawn’s alleged baby with Jan, Belle’s affair with EJ, and now Shawn pushing Belle away as he drinks to get over his guilt for shooting Bo.

Shawn (Brandon Beemer) had just managed to get all that under control when he got the gut punch of Victor’s (John Aniston) death. He is completely unraveling. And there is just so much nonsense Belle (Martha Madison) is willing to put up with.

Days of our Lives: A New Man

Shawn, who has been perfectly happy as a Brady all of his life, is suddenly angsting about how, boo-hoo, his parents named him after the man who raised Bo (Peter Reckell) instead of his grandma Caroline’s (Peggy McCay) one-night stand. And that’s why Victor never loved him like Justin (Wally Kurth), Brady (Eric Martsolf), Philip (John-Paul Lavoisier), Sonny (Zach Tinker) and Alex (Robert Scott Wilson), and even Xander (Paul Telfer). Oh, woe is me.

Days of our Lives Standard Bearer

Belle may have been able to stand by Shawn when Jan (Heather Lindell) tricked him into thinking they had a son together. She may have been able to stand by him as he worked through his grief about Bo. But if Shawn decides to drop being the upstanding cop Brady he’s always been and embrace his identity as a Kiriakis, that will be a bridge too far.

DAYS Spoilers: Clear the Decks

Watch Shawn change his name to Victor Kiriakis. However, one of Justin’s sons is already named that. And odds are good that the name “Victor” will find itself somewhere in the name of Sarah’s (Linsey Godfrey) baby too.

Watch him announce he’s quitting police work and taking up…whatever Victor’s companies did. He’ll start dressing better. But his personality will definitely shift towards the worse. Belle won’t stand for that. And that’s what will likely drive her out of Salem and away from Shawn.
