Sloan Petersen Always Wins!
Sloan gets everyone off, 10% of the audience reminds. She is obviously the best attorney in town. That’s why everyone hates her. They’re used to Melinda (Tina Huang) threatening to put their friends and loved ones in jail — then totally failing. But, when Sloan says she’s here for the defense, she actually wins. The good people of Salem just can’t handle a legal system that doesn’t always work out in their favor.

DAYS Spoilers: Passing the Buck
Oh, she’ll do it alright, 41% of you sigh. And, she’ll do it by pinning all the blame on poor, vulnerable, helpless Talia (Aketra Sevillian). All she did was actually commit some crimes, and everyone is acting like she’s some kind of criminal! You wouldn’t put it past Sloan to suggest her brother isn’t the only guilty party and try to pull in Talia, too. She’s ruthless when it comes to doing her job properly!
Days of our Lives: Dead to Rights
On the other hand, a winning 49% of voters figure even Sloan’s underhanded tactics won’t be enough to cover up the part where half the town saw Colin and Talia plunge off a roof. Plus, there’s Paulina (Jackée Harry), the mayor’s wife, to testify against him. Sloan knows Colin is guilty. The best she might do is get him a reduced sentence, but a full pardon is out of the question. Sloan is an officer of the court, and we’ve seen that she won’t do anything to jeopardize her license to practice law. She won’t save her brother at her own expense.
