Chanel Dupree told Johnny she will never forgive Talia on Days of our Lives. We get where she’s coming from. Talia lied to Chanel, almost destroyed her business, led her on, and then was a part of Chanel’s mother and stepfather nearly getting killed.
Days of our Lives Polling
That’s a lot to process. But now that Talia has been victimized by a man, it’s time to start her redemption tour. Salem law practically demands it. So will Chanel change her tune?
DAYS: Last-Minute Change of Heart
Only 18% of the audience expects Chanel (Raven Bowens) to realize that Talia actually tried to help her in the end. She came to Paulina’s (Jackée Harry) and Abe’s (James Reynolds) rescue and fell off a roof for her trouble. That ought to be enough to cleanse her of her sins, and the Chanel/Talia shipping can pick up right where it left off.
Chanel Dupree: Days of our Lives Victim’s Rights
Then again, an almost equal 18% see it completely in reverse. Talia is not the victim here, no matter how hard Jada (Elia Cantu) is working to make it look that way. Chanel is the one who was targeted, and Chanel is the one who suffered. She shouldn’t let Talia’s big, sad eyes manipulate her. Stay the course, Chanel!
DOOL: Safe at Home
We know Chanel will crack eventually, 64% of you sigh, but can she at least wait until her family is safe? As of now, Chanel and Paulina don’t know that Abe’s disappearance isn’t connected to Colin and yet another one of his many, many revenge plans. They also don’t know for sure that Talia isn’t continuing to play them. She could be in on it, too. So until everything is settled and Chanel can see proof of Talia’s remorse, she should keep her distance. They’re young. There’s plenty of time to hook up. And bake more biscuits.
