DAYS Spoilers Speculation: Gwen Gets Revenge On Her Husband

DAYS spoilers showed us a Gwen who had finally wised up — and joined up with Kristen to get revenge on that cheating, lying, sleazy snake who goes by the name Dimitri. Up until she suddenly fell for the obvious con artist, Gwen used to be pretty savvy. And pretty heartless. She knows how to twist the knife. And really make it hurt.

DAYS Spoilers Speculation: Death Do Not Be Proud

The easiest thing to do would be for Gwen (Emily O’Brien) to kill Dimitri (Peter Porte). But that would let him off the hook. Resting in peace is not what Gwen wants for her husband. He needs to suffer. And, more importantly, he needs to inherit all the money he’s got coming him from exchanging vows with Gwen in that sham marriage of theirs. So that Gwen can inherit it all. And share with her partner in crime, Kristen (Stacy Haiduk).

DOOL Spoilers: Take Him For All He’s Got

Splitting the difference between death and humiliation would be Gwen exposing Dimitri’s deception — and then divorcing him. Which would entitle her to half his money. Maybe even more if she can prove he’s the one who conned her. She married him in good faith. She’s the victim. She’s in pain. Pain that many, many millions of dollars can make go away.

Then again, Gwen probably realizes that outing Dimitri will mean sacrificing the fortune. The irony is, if Dimitri had been open with her from the start, the Gwen we know would have loved to pull off a con that culminated with her rolling in dough.

But now that she’s been deprived of that opportunity, she might as well make herself feel better by making sure Dimitri is humiliated down to his birthday suit. The only problem is, very few people in Salem care about Dimitri, and even fewer give a damn about Gwen, much less Leo (Greg Rikaart). So, who would witness their downfall? Much less give a damn?
