Eric Brady’s (Greg Vaughan) homecoming couldn’t have come at a better time. He’s back to his white-collar life and being a priest means he can battle a demon. Will he be the key to defeating the devil? Marlena Evans’s (Deidre Hall) friends and family hope her son is their saving grace.
Of course, the Devil is going to play a whole slew of games. Expect Satan to sideline the well-meaning clergyman with a surprise. Eric walks into the room expecting his mother but finds Kristen DiMera (Eileen Davidson) instead!
Meanwhile, Kayla Brady Johnson (Mary Beth Evans) and Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) spread Christmas cheer at the hospital and share some sweet moments of their own. It’s an evening of tradition and romance for the loving couple.
Lucas Horton (Bryan Dattilo) takes his turn at the Christmas tree and takes in all the ornaments and the new angel. Will seeing Laura’s topper on the family tree have him in his feelings? He may need a minute.
DOOL made its debut in 1965 and is one of the longest-running daytime soap operas in American history. It has outlasted other soaps to become a mainstay for many households. Needless to say, five decades of storylines have kept viewers locked in and wanting more.
From Sami Brady’s (Alison Sweeney) crazy schemes to Victor Kiriakis’s (John Aniston) one-liners to the epic love story of John (Drake Hogestyn) and Marlena (Deidre Hall), DAYS knows how to entertain and keep fans coming back for more. Fans love their daytime soap operas and the excitement in Salem is non-stop.
More than 50 years of gripping drama as well as love in the afternoon have kept this NBC daytime soap on the air and winning Daytime Emmys. The other three daytime dramas include General Hospital (GH), The Young and the Restless (YR), and The Bold and the Beautiful (BB).
