Kate (Lauren Koslow) knows she has few chances to escape, and she’s already packed quite a punch that Megan (Miranda Wilson) wasn’t expecting, knocking the baddie out. But don’t expect Megan to be down and out for long and Kate may be back in trouble once again.
Meanwhile, Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) and Marlena (Deidre Hall) put their heads together to come up with a plan. Unfortunately, once the door opens, it’s all over. Dr. Rolf (Richard Wharton) appears, and the mad scientist isn’t about to let them roam free.
Over at the station, Belle (Martha Madison) and Shawn (Brandon Beemer) have much to discuss. Whatever it is, it must be serious. They hold hands while they get through this tough talk.
DAYS made its debut in 1965 and is one of the longest-running daytime soap operas in American history. It has outlasted other soaps to become a mainstay for many households. Needless to say, decades of storylines have kept viewers locked in and wanting more. It was developed as a half-hour soap opera for NBC by prolific soap scribe Irna Phillips along with her longtime director, Ted Corday, and Allan Chase. Corday’s son, Ken Corday, continues the family tradition by serving as executive producer.
From Sami Brady’s (Alison Sweeney) crazy schemes to Victor Kiriakis’s (John Aniston) one-liners to the epic love story of John Black (Drake Hogestyn) and Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall), DAYS knows how to entertain and keep fans coming back for more. Fans love their daytime soap operas, and the excitement in Salem is non-stop.
