Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker) and Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) celebrate their love when he gets down on one knee and asks her to be his wife. Their romance began as an illicit affair but it’s taken off and Rafe is ready for the next step. And, of course, Nicole is too.
Their night is filled with sweet kisses, Nicole staring at her new engagement ring, a visit with their little bestie Duke, and a romp in the hay. Their future is bright and they can’t wait to start it together.
Will this happy couple stay that way? Maybe not if Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) sticks around. He has a drink at the pub while chatting with his dad and Kate Roberts (Lauren Koslow). Will they convince him to stay in Salem? Or, is this another classic goodbye?

DAYS made its debut in 1965 and is one of the longest-running daytime soap operas in American history. It has outlasted other soaps to become a mainstay for many households. Needless to say, decades of storylines have kept viewers locked in and wanting more. It was developed as a half-hour soap opera for NBC by prolific soap scribe Irna Phillips along with her longtime director, Ted Corday, and Allan Chase. Corday’s son, Ken Corday, continues the family tradition by serving as executive producer.
From Sami Brady’s (Alison Sweeney) crazy schemes to Victor Kiriakis’s (John Aniston) one-liners to the epic love story of John Black (Drake Hogestyn) and Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall), DAYS knows how to entertain and keep fans coming back for more. Fans love their daytime soap operas and the excitement in Salem is non-stop.
