After all, Dante was in a rush to put a ring on it months after meeting Sami, but now the wedding has halted. Throw in Dante giving Sydney a job and pushing her to stay in Salem, and something doesn’t add up for Sydney, so she told Dante as much.

DAYS fans know that Dante helped Dominic with the poker game in Monte Carlo to make sure Philip (John-Paul Lavoisier) won, but not enough to save Titan or the mansion. That alone proves that Dante has been lying about the extent of his connection with Dominic.
It’s no coincidence that Dante was brought into Sami’s life at a certain time and that the relationship moved so quickly. Whether that has to do with Stefano, Dominic, or both, who knows, but Dante certainly wasn’t completely honest with Sydney.
Unfortunately for Dante, Sydney is a mix of EJ and Sami, so she didn’t just accept his answer. She made him think she did, though. Sydney just might be the one person to blow Dante’s true agenda out of the water if he’s not careful. Dante may think of her as young and naïve, but he’s wrong.
