Spending an afternoon with Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker) has Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) all torn up inside. Does he still love her? Yes. Is he the type of guy to break up her current relationship? Not so much. Okay, maybe. A talk with his dad, Roman Brady (Josh Taylor) may give him a little clarity.
As for Nicole, she heads straight to the station to see her fiancé. Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) is hard at work but never mind all that. His investigation can wait a few minutes to see his lady. In fact, why not give her a whole night? A very special night.
Rafe dons his suit and Nicole changes into a lovely white dress and grabs some flowers. Is a quick wedding on the way? Is this really happening this fast? Whatever is going on might be derailed when Eric shows up.
DAYS made its debut in 1965 and is one of the longest-running daytime soap operas in American history. It has outlasted other soaps to become a mainstay for many households. Needless to say, decades of storylines have kept viewers locked in and wanting more. It was developed as a half-hour soap opera for NBC by prolific soap scribe Irna Phillips along with her longtime director, Ted Corday, and Allan Chase. Corday’s son, Ken Corday, continues the family tradition by serving as executive producer.
From Sami Brady’s (Alison Sweeney) crazy schemes to Victor Kiriakis’s (John Aniston) one-liners to the epic love story of John Black (Drake Hogestyn) and Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall), DAYS knows how to entertain and keep fans coming back for more. Fans love their daytime soap operas and the excitement in Salem is non-stop.
