It’s the trick of all tricks when MarDevil (Deidre Hall) transforms Jan Spears (Heather Lindell) into a carbon copy of Belle Black (Martha Madison). It’s a glorious moment for Jan who gets what she wants…almost.
Also living the dream is Sami Brady DiMera (Alison Sweeney). She and EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) fight, bicker, argue, and kiss it out. Does this mean she’s winning him over? It sure looks like it, until they are rudely interrupted. An unwelcome guest may ruin her chance of a reunion.
Speaking of unwanted guests, MarDevil tickles Santa’s (Mark W. Gray) fancy before heading over to the Williams’s house to ruin the holiday. Julie Williams (Susan Seaforth Hayes) and Doug Williams (Bill Hayes) are joined by Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) and Ciara Brady Weston (Victoria Konefal) for a night of cheer. Sadly, their little gathering goes up in flames.
DOOL made its debut in 1965 and is one of the longest-running daytime soap operas in American history. It has outlasted other soaps to become a mainstay for many households. Needless to say, five decades of storylines have kept viewers locked in and wanting more.
From Sami Brady’s (Alison Sweeney) crazy schemes to Victor Kiriakis’s (John Aniston) one-liners to the epic love story of John (Drake Hogestyn) and Marlena (Deidre Hall), DAYS knows how to entertain and keep fans coming back for more. Fans love their daytime soap operas and the excitement in Salem is non-stop.
More than 50 years of gripping drama as well as love in the afternoon have kept this NBC daytime soap on the air and winning Daytime Emmys. The other three daytime dramas include General Hospital (GH), The Young and the Restless (YR), and The Bold and the Beautiful (BB).
