Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) is in bad shape after the accident. Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford) sticks close to her side as Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) checks in to get the details. Will she remember what happened? Does she know exactly what happened to her?
Also running to her side is Xander Cook (Paul Telfer). He and Dr. Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) pay Gwen a visit to see how she is. How will Sarah feel about treating a woman who tried to ruin her life? Will she be jealous when Xander expresses his concerns for her rival?
It looks like all is not yet well between Shawn Brady (Brandon Beemer) and Belle Brady Black (Martha Madison). Judging by the looks of things, the two have a few choice words to share as the drama around them continues to unfold.
DAYS made its debut in 1965 and is one of the longest-running daytime soap operas in American history. It has outlasted other soaps to become a mainstay for many households. Needless to say, decades of storylines have kept viewers locked in and wanting more. It was developed as a half-hour soap opera for NBC by prolific soap scribe Irna Phillips along with her longtime director, Ted Corday, and Allan Chase. Corday’s son, Ken Corday, continues the family tradition by serving as executive producer.
From Sami Brady’s (Alison Sweeney) crazy schemes to Victor Kiriakis’s (John Aniston) one-liners to the epic love story of John Black (Drake Hogestyn) and Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall), DAYS knows how to entertain and keep fans coming back for more. Fans love their daytime soap operas and the excitement in Salem is non-stop.
