It’s tea time for little Rachel Black (Finley Rose Slater), and she’s going to make a whole time of it. Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin) may be the one to set it up, but the little girl isn’t about to dunk cookies with the enemy. Out Chloe goes so Rachel can get in some sassy conversations with her daddy.
How does Chloe feel about all this? We’re sure she’ll be understanding, especially after a chat with Nancy Wesley (Patrika Darbo) and a romantic moment with Brady Black (Eric Martsolf). Rachel is the priority, after all.
Before pouring tea, Brady checks in at the hospital to see Marlena Evans Black (Deidre Hall). The ladies’ extended hospital stay has everyone on edge. Also in the building are John Black (Drake Hogestyn) and Rex Brady (Kyle Lowder), who are just as worried as Brady.
DAYS made its debut in 1965 and is one of the longest-running daytime soap operas in American history. It has outlasted other soaps to become a mainstay for many households. Needless to say, decades of storylines have kept viewers locked in and wanting more. It was developed as a half-hour soap opera for NBC by prolific soap scribe Irna Phillips along with her longtime director, Ted Corday, and Allan Chase. Corday’s son, Ken Corday, continues the family tradition by serving as executive producer.
From Sami Brady’s (Alison Sweeney) crazy schemes to Victor Kiriakis’s (John Aniston) one-liners to the epic love story of John Black (Drake Hogestyn) and Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall), DAYS knows how to entertain and keep fans coming back for more. Fans love their daytime soap operas, and the excitement in Salem is non-stop.
