John Black’s (Drake Hogestyn) curiosity is on the rise and he sets out to get the goods on why Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) is acting so strange. He is well aware of how this will go if his suspicions are true. And, he’s right. While he’s looking for answers, MarDevil is working on getting rid of Julie Williams (Susan Seaforth Hayes).
That mess is put on the back burner though when a shocking tragedy takes place. Jake DiMera (Brandon Barash) and Carmine Vitali’s (Richard Stevens) shootout takes a terrible turn when Abe Carver (James Reynolds) accidentally gets in the way of a bullet.
It’s a race against time to save poor Abe. The only saving grace is Jake jumping into action and calling for help. Things are looking grim, though, and Abe is in for the fight of his life. It will take Dr. Kayla Johnson (Mary Beth Evans) and her entire team to save the Salem Mayor.
