Ciara Brady Weston’s (Victoria Konefal) baby bump is getting bigger by the day, so she and Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) start hurrying to get ready to meet their child. Of course, their joy over putting together baby gear is nothing compared to the excitement of Susan Banks’s (Stacy Haiduk) arrival. They drop everything to share their devilish suspicions.
Meanwhile, Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) finds himself in quite the pickle when Jake DiMera (Brandon Barash) gets heated. No matter, JoDevil pulls out some tricks to stop Jake in his tracks.
Over in the prison, EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) comes face to face with another Salem baddie, Orpheus (George DelHoyo). It was inevitable seeing as how Orpheus is buddy-buddy with Clyde Weston (James Read). This could spell very bad news, though.
At the same time, Belle Black Brady (Martha Madison) visits Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn). EJ needs a get-out-of-jail-free card, and Chad’s the one holding that deck. Can Belle convince him to do the right thing?
DOOL made its debut in 1965 and is one of the longest-running daytime soap operas in American history. It has outlasted other soaps to become a mainstay for many households. Needless to say, five decades of storylines have kept viewers locked in and wanting more.
From Sami Brady’s (Alison Sweeney) crazy schemes to Victor Kiriakis’s (John Aniston) one-liners to the epic love story of John (Drake Hogestyn) and Marlena (Deidre Hall), DAYS knows how to entertain and keep fans coming back for more. Fans love their daytime soap operas and the excitement in Salem is non-stop.
More than 50 years of gripping drama as well as love in the afternoon have kept this NBC daytime soap on the air and winning Daytime Emmys. The other three daytime dramas include General Hospital (GH), The Young and the Restless (YR), and The Bold and the Beautiful (BB).
