It’s a trip from the altar to the police station for Lucas Horton (Bryan Dattilo) when his happily-ever-after turns into a nightmare. Surprise! The summer of weddings is quickly becoming the summer of secrets. Lucas is going to pay for everything he has done…and possibly some things he didn’t.

Poor Sami will be beside herself as everything falls apart before her eyes. She was ready to settle down so what now? Luckily her friends, family, and children are right there to stick up for her and help her deal with this drama.

Meanwhile, EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) flips his feelings about Sami’s wedding into passion for her sister. Why not take Belle Black Brady (Martha Madison) into his arms and drown his sorrow in her? From the looks of it, Belle doesn’t mind. Not one little bit.

DAYS made its debut in 1965 and is one of the longest-running daytime soap operas in American history. It has outlasted other soaps to become a mainstay for many households. Needless to say, decades of storylines have kept viewers locked in and wanting more. It was developed as a half-hour soap opera for NBC by prolific soap scribe Irna Phillips along with her longtime director, Ted Corday, and Allan Chase. Corday’s son, Ken Corday, continues the family tradition by serving as executive producer.

From Sami Brady’s (Alison Sweeney) crazy schemes to Victor Kiriakis’s (John Aniston) one-liners to the epic love story of John Black (Drake Hogestyn) and Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall), DAYS knows how to entertain and keep fans coming back for more. Fans love their daytime soap operas and the excitement in Salem is non-stop.
