Tripp Johnson (Lucas Adams) visits with his parents to tie up some loose ends, show some love, and say a final goodbye. He needs a break from this awful place. And, who can blame him? He almost died at the hands of a demon. While Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) is nothing but supportive, how will Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) take the news?

Speaking of visits with parents, Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford) goes to see his surviving daughter, Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien). How will she take the news of Abigail Deveraux DiMera’s (Marci Miller) death? Will she even be surprised?

Also checking in with Gwen is Ava. Is this just a friendly visit or do they have some post-murder business to discuss? You may be surprised as we listen in on this conversation.

All the while, Lucas Horton (Bryan Dattilo) is quite the mess. So much so, that Jennifer Horton Deveraux (Cady McClain) comforts him! Oh sure, it’s her daughter who’s dead but there, there, Lucas. Also on hand for Lucas is Kate Roberts (Lauren Koslow). This is a time when everyone needs to hold their loved ones a little closer.

DAYS made its debut in 1965 and is one of the longest-running daytime soap operas in American history. It has outlasted other soaps to become a mainstay for many households. Needless to say, decades of storylines have kept viewers locked in and wanting more. It was developed as a half-hour soap opera for NBC by prolific soap scribe Irna Phillips along with her longtime director, Ted Corday, and Allan Chase. Corday’s son, Ken Corday, continues the family tradition by serving as executive producer.

From Sami Brady’s (Alison Sweeney) crazy schemes to Victor Kiriakis’s (John Aniston) one-liners to the epic love story of John Black (Drake Hogestyn) and Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall), DAYS knows how to entertain and keep fans coming back for more. Fans love their daytime soap operas and the excitement in Salem is non-stop.
